Keith's Grandpa turned 85! We had a big celebration for him over at his house this past weekend...a big pitch-in and family coming in from out of town. He is such a wonderful man...huge respect for him! What an honor to celebrate and recognize him.
LOTS of cheers and clapping for him. :)
Sweet.
We all signed this very thoughtful card that Erika made/wrote. She did a superb job!
We tried to have a mini photo shoot and get as many pics of family that we could...all the families with Grandpa. Then...his kids, some grandkids, grandsons,.........LOTS!
My lovely daughter Addison was not cooperating too well for this picture...even got a reprimand from Daddy for the tongue. But...still memories I guess. :)
Grandpa with Payton and McKenna...after McKenna ripped the bow off Payton's head. :) Funny!
Grandpa with his four kids.
Keith and his brothers with Grandpa...love this one.
Aunt Sue with some kiddos.
Addison with her FAVORITE Aunt Sue.
There were many more...great times and great memories for sure. Then it was on to some fun.
Some Broady boys...and Bob. :)
Kids running and playing...with good ole' Erika.
Too cute of Kaden and Jackson.
Tyler and Bob.
Me with my girls.
Licking the candle holders...I have always loved that.
This was Kaden's favorite part of the day. :)
CAKE!
Visiting.
And...finally some of the pretty lilies in Grandpa's garden...reminded me of Grandma that day. She loved lilies...so I had to get a picture.
She wasn't with us, but I sure thought about her and how she would have been so proud of her husband...a man she was married to for over 60 years. She went to be with Jesus while Keith was still in the hospital as a result of the shooting. He wasn't even able to attend her funeral...a woman I know he greatly admired. Family and get-together's were very important to her. She was always planning something! :) I think she would be proud that we all came together to celebrate her wonderful husband.
So thankful for such a great man. We love you, Grandpa.
GREAT pics, my friend! Miss you guys!
