these are some pictures from your brother's 2nd birthday!! You were a good girl that day!

At this 8 month mark, you...

• ARE CRAWLING!! You started exactly on your 8 month birthday!! Something just clicked and off you went. You are super fast at it too.
• love standing up and holding onto things...as you can tell by the pictures! You will walk around chairs, tables...or anything you can hold on to as you walk.
• are still loving your bottle and NOT food. Occasionally you will eat a little bit of baby food, but are really not interested. I try to at least give you some cereal with fruit in it in the morning or before you go to bed, but it is still not something you really enjoy. The bottle is your main source of food...still. :)
• have been practicing with the sippy cup a little bit. You are still trying to figure it all out and why it isn't milk inside. :)
• are very entertained by your brother and sister. I love that! They love to give you toys and help you explore things and you love when they are around. They are so sweet with you. When I get you out of bed in the mornings, you start looking around for them immediately. Sibling love already.
• are waving now. You were not very interested in this at first, but now have taken right to it!
• have loved being outside with this warm weather. You love the swing! And you even like sitting in the grass and kicking your legs around...something that your brother and sister never liked.
• are 100% cute to us! So very thankful for you and the other kiddos. You are the joys of my life!

Really excited about Kaden's birthday coming up. I actually get excited about any birthday really. I just love making a person feel special on their day. It is one day they can claim as their own, and I just like to be a part of blessing them.

Just had to document THIS! It's not something you see everyday. Such a cool sight to see in our back yard. 

Kaden was not sure what this was, but was definitely enthralled by it. So pretty.

We 'escaped' to the park a while back. I say 'escaped' because there were many things at home calling our name to get done/accomplish but we left it behind for a little fun. :) It was so good to get away and chillax!

We walked...and got lots of exercise! Kaden had a hard time deciding..."to walk or to ride??" He ran a lot of the way. :)

 Pay-Pay loved sittin in the rocks and kicking her feet. Couldn't leave her there very long though...she quickly found out that she could pick them up and eat them. Danger! She was quickly picked up. :)

Good, fun family night...that we will do again very soon. I just love the park. Come on warmer days!

prom for austin

well...kind of. He is no junior or senior but he and Nat take some classes over at a school in Louisville and they had their annual prom. And 'Aussie' went! He got ready at our house and I snapped some pics of him before he left...handsome fella. :)
