christmas eve 2010

Our Christmas festivities began Christmas Eve over at Jason and Leslie's house (Keith's brother). That is when we get together with Keith's mom and stepdad. We ate some delish food, visited with each other, and exchanged gifts.
I was determined to get some pics of the kids. Here are some of Kaden and Jackson.

And then to the girls...Payton and McKenna...
chillin in their car seats. :)
 Kaden loves his cousin Erika.
 Nana with the boys.

I thought these were some of the cutest cookies I had ever seen.
Santa came and visited for a little bit. :)

Even Grandpa joined in!

Then on to some gift opening...I love that Kaden was actually able to open some presents. This was really his first time receiving a gift and knowing what to do with it. He very quickly learned the routine...and then wanted to help other people open their gifts as well. :)

I don't think Kaden or Jackson knew that there was actually something inside...they just enjoyed climbing on the boxes at first!

With a little help they actually retrieved their surprise.
Addison got an Easy Bake oven from Nana and Papaw.
Kaden was having trouble opening this gift...decided to bite it instead. :)

Tyler was loving his new robe.
Keith's mom got the all the boys their own cup with their initial...mainly because they are always stealing hers!
 Erika got a new Bible.
Addison with a new ornament to add to the tree.
 Daddy with his kiddos.
Jessica and I both brought the same sleeper to change the babies into...too funny! We had to get a pic...but they were not cooperating very well.
Then we let their Daddies hold them and gave them their pacifiers. Awwwww!

We left over there pretty late to come home. We still had quite a bit to do to get ready for Christmas morning...things to put together, get set up, and even wrap. Nothing like waiting till the last minute! We got to bed late, I had a hard time sleeping, and then we were up quite early. I felt like a little kid again through the night...such excitement about seeing the kiddos open their stuff. I just love that.
