christmas morning 2010

Our day began quite early...and it wasn't even the kids that got us up. I think we were more excited than they were. :) Keith made some coffee (much needed!!) and we actually had to wake the kids up after a while. Kaden was stirring a little bit, but Addison probably would have slept a couple more hours...she is like her mama...we love our sleep. We began by letting the kids walk into the family room and see the tent we got...they were both super excited about playing and crawling in and out of that.
We then let them go and look for baby Jesus (which we hid) and put him in the manger. Then we all sang 'Happy Birthday.' Precious.
Before the "present opening," Addison and Kaden took a ride on the bike that Nana and Papaw got for Kaden.

Kaden was content to just ride along with his sis'.
Presents took us quite a while. The kids took their time opening them...especially Kaden. Then...when he did finally get one open, that was all he wanted to play with. He wasn't interested in any other presents for sure, and he couldn't understand why we kept giving him other packages.
Unveiling of the new table and chairs...we hid them under a blanket. :)
Kaden loved that they were just his size.
Helping Kaden open his basketball goal...
 which he enjoyed!

Adders loved her gift opening...kept wanting more and more!
This kept his attention for awhile...his very own place setting! And the bonus was that it came with a water bottle so he won't be stealing Addison's princess one anymore. :)
This was a hit for sure...he LOVES this guitar. He was dancing and singing, and carried it everywhere.

Great perfume from my man among some other great things!
One of Keith's gifts...a pressure washer that he has been desperately wanting.
Keith's Dad and Grandpa came over to watch the kids open some gifts and give them some to open as well. They were making their rounds...started with us and then were on to see the other grandkids.

Addison playing one of her new computer games that she opened. We new that would be a hit!
A final gift we brought out...a wagon with a trailer attached...too cute. And they can all fit!
Ultimately...they enjoyed it all and we had a great morning...just our little family. Then it was on to my Mom and Dad's.
